Who is Karen Webb?

Karen Webb runs Enneagram Studies UK, and has taught the Enneagram in the Narrative Tradition since 1991, after graduating from the Enneagram Professional Training Program with Helen Palmer®. Her focus is to facilitate spiritual and psychological growth through workshops, individual counsel, couple and group work.

A lifelong student, formally and informally, of spirituality, comparative religion and psychology, she was born in 1951 to open-minded parents who encouraged her to follow her heart. Her work has included midwifery, computer programming, systems analysis, marketing and the service industries (she has strong views on the real meaning and value of service!).

During the 1980s, until serendipity led her to the Enneagram, she was in Management consultancy, training and Human Resource Development, with a focus on the transpersonal, and before leaving this field had a team of 50 running management and communication trainings in the UK and Europe.

Karen is also, with her husband, a director of a small marketing company, in which all the personnel know and use the Enneagram as part of their personal development, teamwork and management skills training.

Her main focus is to facilitate spiritual and psychological growth through workshops, individual counsel, couple and group work, as requested. Her book 'Principles of the Enneagram’ is available in thirteen languages worldwide.

Karen’s personal spiritual path leads more and more strongly to the simplicity of Presence. As the ancient Zen proverb says, “Before enlightenment chop wood carry water; after enlightenment - chop wood carry water.”
